Empty Frame Productions creates visionary theatre inspired by actual history. Our work moves past simple dates to the people who inhabited those times, honoring their struggles, subtlety, courage, and collective soul.

We breathe life into the past through a fusion of drama, scenery, digital art, audio, movement and light.

Each element is purposeful. Often, the silent gaps or the private beats carry as much significance as the central plot.

Our mission is to help audiences inhabit the past rather than just observe it unfold.
